About Marc Hodak
Marc Hodak is an author, speaker and thought leader in corporate governance.
He is the founder of Hodak Value Advisors, a corporate advisory firm specializing in corporate performance measurement, executive compensation, and related governance issues for investors, boards and senior management. Hodak Value Advisors maintains a strong relationship with the institutional investor community, and generates extensive research into the impact of compensation structures on shareholder value and investment data used by asset managers.
He has over 21 years of experience advising boards and executives with his expertise in developing and reviewing financial management and compensation practices. He has worked with over a hundred public and private firms around the world (Partial Client List) in diverse industries such as manufacturing, consumer products, energy, financial services, technology, telecommunications and transportation.
Marc is a dynamic speaker at forums and conferences throughout the U.S. and Europe on governance and managing for value. He is also an adjunct professor at NYU’s Stern School and a visiting lecturer at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
Marc is an accomplished author and blogger who has been published in both academic journals and popular magazines on topics such as corporate governance, executive compensation, and managerial incentives.

Marc earned his MBA in Finance at the Wharton School following a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland. He was admitted to the Patent Bar in 1984.
